APRIL'S PROJECT IS REPURPOSING AN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING.

YOU CAN USE NEW FABRIC AS WELL YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING ON WHATEVER YOU MAKE THAT IS MADE FROM ANOTHER ITEM.

WE ARE RECYCLING JUST AS MAILI WOULD HAVE US.
AND DON'T FORGET TO WATCH PROJECT RUNWAY TONIGHT , I THINK PING IS BACK.

March Project

Ok, so I was a LITTLE rushed for time when I realized I hadnt finished the sewing project I was planning on doing for this months project. I decided to just throw together a new shirt for Misi since I had just bought him a bunch of blanks to applique anyways.

My mistake was telling him it was for him while I was sewing everything. I wanted to do a cowboy looking back but keep it not toooooo cowboy-eeee (is that a word? Too bad.) I thought the red and blue fabric I had would be perfect....................As I went along I realized this shirt may be better for Maili but knew hed be crushed if I told him that so its Misis shirt, and we love it. :) I Love to have something different and he LOVED it so that made me smile.

Cant wait to hear what Aprils project is...............April is Moms month so lets hear what it is Mom!

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEWN ANYTHING WITH A ZIPPER AND LINING.

IT WAS FUN TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW.

I GOT THE FABRIC FOR $1.50 A YARD.

ONE BIG RED BUTTON .78

TOTAL COST OF BAG=$5.94

THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT BAG FOR CARRYING ALL MY CHURCH STUFF OR A NICE DIAPER BAG FOR SOMEONE WITH BABIES OR JUST A PURSE, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHAT I WILL USE IT FOR.

Amberlys FINALLY done!!!!!!

OK, so FIRST. I made that picture displayer thing a mobobber.Its sooo nice to have somewhere to put the kids artwork that they do at school each week! It was way easy. (Notice my newly painted Gray walls in Misis room!) IN this picture he is SO excited about his NEW bed that I made him! Can I just tell you how PROUD I am of this bed? Its the first thing I have made like this without one OUNCE of my Dads help. (Ok, well we borrowed his drill.......and Moms sander but we did it all!) I say WE cuz BJ had to help me screw a few things in. Apparently my muscles arent as big as I thought and he also helped cut some of the boards.

Misis room is going to be gray and Navy blue and white so we painted the bed a dark Navy (which I lucked out and just picked one of Valspers paint colors and absoluted LOVE LOVE LOVE. WE distressed the edges and I am sooooo excited about how it turned out.  (and Misi is thrilled with it and thinks its AWESOME.

WOODEN FRAMES!

WELL HERE IS MY PROJECT FOR FEBRUARY! IM A LITTLE LATE GETTING IT FINISHED BUT ITS FINALLY DONE! I MADE THESE 3 LARGE FRAMES FOR SCHEVIS ROOM! IM SO EXCITED TO GET PICS IN THEM AND HANG THEM UP!
